"Such a lovely spot. We went for a nice walk around the lake. Then we enjoyed a coffee and some cakes in the garden. Great welsh cakes and chocolate chip banana bread. It’s a beautiful view and peaceful quiet. The owners/staff were so welcoming and friendly. Thanks for hosting us!"

"Amazing location - so beautiful, especially on a sunny day. Very friendly service and delicious Welsh cakes, scones and bara brith. Perfect launching place for a walk around the nearby lake or ruined slate mill."

"Hidden little jem , lovely views and setting, we had great lunch and mug of tea definitely go again soon."

"Having previously enjoyed many slices of 'Banana Loaf' and 'Chocolate Chip Sponge', I was presented today with a sample 'Banana & Chocolate Chip Loaf'. I can confidently state that Kath has done it again - its 'melt-in-the-mouth' consistency and addictive qualities really are something else!"

"Lovely to visit the other day. Fabulous flapjacks sitting by the lake. We'll definitely bring Monty up next year for a visit and maybe a storytime."

"A totally cool cafe set amidst magnificent scenery and some wonderful walks."

"Mug of tea and a huge slice of coffee and walnut cake after my walk today. To hell with the diet, it was just what was needed. Many thanks."

"A lovely, lovely place! We very much enjoyed our visit with you! Thank you again! (Your guests today from the Niagara Falls, NY, USA)"

"After a circular walk and visiting Ynys y Pandy we went to the tearoom for a cup of tea and delicious scones. It is a welcoming and nice location. The owner is hospitable and friendly and we had a nice conversation about living in Wales and what's involved. Great place to visit."

"A hidden gem! Beautiful location, lovely food and great host! Hope to be back soon!"

"A wonderful welcome and lots of interesting information. We will definitely be back, both to explore the area and to enjoy some more of their delicious Bara Brith."

"2 very happy customers."
